Following the success of the handmade memorial curtain unveiled at Buckler’s Hard earlier this year, the talented team has once again turned their creative energy toward a new seasonal project, this time celebrating the spirit of Halloween.
Over recent months, staff members have been busy knitting and crocheting in their own free time, crafting dozens of Halloween-inspired pieces to bring a burst of autumn colour and creativity to the village. From smiling pumpkins to witches and spiders, each item has been lovingly made by hand and carefully arranged to form a striking “Halloween curtain” now displayed outside the entrance to the Buckler’s Hard Museum.
The Halloween crochet display will remain in place throughout the half term, offering a delightful photo opportunity and a touch of handmade magic for those exploring the historic village this autumn.
