Buckler's Hard Wartime Weekend 13-14 June

Step back in time at Buckler’s Hard’s Wartime Weekend, a free two‑day event featuring engaging wartime talks and exhibitions, historic vehicles and themed stands, and a display from the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team.

A highlight of the weekend is the chance to step aboard HMS Medusa, an authentic WW2 Harbour Defence Motor Launch moored on the river especially for the event.

Hosted by the Buckler’s Hard Shipyard Trust, the weekend celebrates the remarkable heritage of this historic shipbuilding village, from its medieval roots and 18th–19th century shipyard to its important role during the Second World War. The Trust is dedicated to preserving these stories and the village community for future generations.
